Please join us in celebrating the announcement of Spruce Hill/CCA's new name: The City School.

The decision to change our school name came after a season of prayerful consideration. Since our merger in 2006, we have been serving as one school with two names. This was always intended as a temporary measure. Prayerfully, we waited for the right name to unify our campuses.


We needed a name that speaks to our mission: to train minds, disciple hearts and bring light to the city--one child at a time. We needed a name that does not tie us to a specific neighborhood, a name that will suit us as we continue to grow in our mission. We needed a name that is concise and catchy. The City School is that name.

While our name is new, we are--at heart--the same school that has been serving children in the city for the past 35 years. We celebrate our history and praise God for all He continues to do through us. Greater things are still to be done in this city.
