Koop Memorial Service Saturday

The list of participants for Dr. Koop's memorial service on Saturday seems to be finalized. Rev. Ken Larter will give the homily. Dr. Phil Ryken will say a few words on behalf of Wheaton College and pray. Carroll Wynne and I will assist. Other guests coming are:

Dr. Eugene Betts, professor of the medical school in Augusta, GA - Georgia Regents University; Gene served as pediatric anesthesiologist with Dr. Koop and as an elder with him at Tenth

Dr. Regina Benjamin, U.S. Surgeon General
Dr. Woodie Kessel, former Assistant Surgeon general
Dr. Martin Eichelberger, pediatric surgeon, former resident under Dr. Koop
Gordon Thompson, Dr. Koop's son-in-law
