Host Family Needed for a 7-year-old

Safe Families for Children (SFFC) at Bethany Christian Services received a request for help from the mother of a 7-year-old boy. She will be hospitalized for five days in mid-April and has no one to care for her child. In order to host through SFFC a family must successfully complete an approval process that includes an application, references, clearances, online training and a home screening. The 5-day hosting will include 3 school days. Transportation to and from the child's school in the Overbrook section of the Philly will need to be provided by the host family or another volunteer that has completed clearances.
