McDowell Sabbatical
You may recall that I took a sabbatical earlier this year from February-April. Next in line is Bruce McDowell, who will take his from December 3-March 3.
Bruce's stated goals are to read books related to missions, baptism, nature of humanity, Reformed faith, and relationships. He has been working on several writing projects, which he hopes to wrap up. They are on baptism (to be published in English, Turkish, and Spanish); the relationship of faith and works; a Spanish commentary on Philemon; and a Spanish presentation of the five solas and the five points of Calvinism. One other project is to "work at learning how to serve and love my new wife Anne more." I think that last one is going to be an ongoing project.
