Antique Pianos
We have two lovely antique pianos that are free to a good home. One is a circa 1912 Chickering Brothers (Chicago) cabinet grand with a pneumatic player system. The other is a Weser Bros. cabinet grand – beautiful oak wood and a unique patented “orchestra” feature that, when the pedal is engaged, makes it sound more like a harpsichord. We don’t know the exact year it was made, but the patent dates run from 1890 to 1897. We’ve used both of these pianos in the past, but we recently inherited a third piano and must do something with these two. We’ve tried to sell them for a year, but at this point we just want them to find a home. Please call Patrick at 484-678-2272 or Georgina at 717-917-0511.
