Vacation...er...Holiday

I had many well-wishers on Sunday for the vacation I supposedly was beginning today, so many that I thought something had been placed in the bulletin. Ginger and I are taking a vacation (or perhaps I should say "holiday" for our UK staff) that will begin next Monday, May 23. We will be visiting our daughter Jean in Norway, where my son-in-law Lucas ran off with her. Thanks to Skype, we secretly are able to keep in touch while he is at work. Then we will make a pilgrimage to visit the sacred sites where Liam Goligher walked and ministered - London and Scotland.

If you not already have booked yourself a full schedule in London and Scotland, check with Tom & Bonnie Martin on what else to see. They do come frequently to London and also to Oxford (as one of many places) and that has nothing to do with us being there. Oxford is just a bus ride away... And you are always welcome for a guided tour at least till the end of Juli this year.

We look forward to welcoming you at Duke Street church, Marion. Richmond is a really interesting place. And, yes, so is Oxford - you can get a bus [the Oxford Tube] straight there from Shepherds Bush or various other places.London is the most fascinating city in the world [and I've been to many!], and Scotland is the most beautiful country!! p.s. Many of us watch Liam preaching live [2pm,4pm, and 11pm here] every Sunday!
