Waiting for him to get home.

When my son was on the way home from college we were eagerly awaiting his arrival. So is the Lord. We read it on Sunday from Psalm 116 – “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.”

Last Thursday, Tom Mason went home to be with the Lord. Tom was the father of Karen Lengkeek and Karl Mason who live in parish three. Karen shared with me the strong faith of her father and how he will be missed by her children, but…what a legacy!

For those who wish to support Karen and Karl, the funeral will be on Saturday at Grace Chapel in Havertown. Viewing will begin at 9:30 am with the service to follow at 11:00.
