What to Choose?

I am going over the brochure for the new Bible school quarter. My, my...I don't know how you are going to be able to choose a class. At the 9:00 hour you have:

Doctrines of Grace - George McFarland's class. They will be going through the Boice/Ryken book, Doctrines of Grace.

The System in the Story - Taught by David Smith, head of DCCS' Bible department. "The class will explore the character and fulfillment of God's covenant from Genesis to Revelation."

Portrait of a Struggle - Hosted by Greg and Kathy Hobaugh. This is a video series by Paul Tripp drawing on principles from his book, Broken Down House: Living Productively in a World Gone Bad.

Fiscal Fitness - Taught by Bryce Bartruff. If you missed the financial management seminar in October, this class presents at greater length the principles of personal finance along with practical instruction to live comfortably within those principles.

Foundations of Christian Marriage - Hosted by Sebastien and Sara Demoiny. This class for young married couples and parents will delve into prayer life through Tim Keller's Bible study, Praying with the Psalms.

At 11:00 there is one general class. That makes it easier to choose, although you will be tempted to switch the time you worship to attend this one.

The Christian and the Media - Taught by Dan Kunkle, Bible teacher at Philmont. The class will study the topic of mass media, beginning "with a theological justification for culture study and a biblical model for a Christian approach to culture." Sounds like the very thing that interested Dr. Boice when he got to Romans 12.
