Hughes Oliphant Old

On July 8, the Calvin Quincentenary in Geneva awarded its Lifetime Achievement Award for Liturgics to Hughes Oliphant Old, “Dean of Reformed liturgical scholars in our day, for calling the Church back to the sources for worship according to Scripture, affirmed by the Fathers and the Reformers: Chrysostom, Augustine, and Calvin.” Dr. David W. Congratulations to Mr. Old but they left out the most important part "he is a funny, interesting and encouraging member of the congregation and always fun to chat with after chruch!" So don't be intimidated by the accolades, go tell him congratulations in person and make a new friend.
