Temporary housing needed in spring

I am moving to Philadelphia in March, and I will be looking for a place to live until I get married around June. I thought, instead of looking for temporary housing for the spring, I would contact local churches in case there is a need for live-in help. For example, and elderly relative or at-home mother who needs help in the home, in exchange of a bed to sleep in.
