Why Did the Chicken...
In the interest of addressing theological concerns by the ministers of the church, I will from time to time post the pressing questions of our day. Today's question is: Why did the chicken cross the road?
Phil Ryken: This also is vanity and a striving after wind.
Paul Tripp: This is a heart issue. The chicken, in his quest for something more in life, thinks he will find fulfillment in what's across the road.
Carroll Wynne: Parents, if you would just take time to listen to the young chicken, he would tell you.
Bruce McDowell: I am recruiting people now for a short-term trip to find out and to share the gospel with the chicken.
Marion Clark: If he's not causing problems for me, he can go wherever he wants.
Jonathan Olsen: Yo! He's crossing the road to get to the game. GO PHILLIES!

4 Comments:
Perhaps the next pressing question could be "what came first the chicken or the egg?"
David Apple sent in his response: "The chicken saw his enemy the fox lying in the road, and cared for his wounds."
Paul Tripp: Hear this! In my counseling experience, no chicken has ever asked me, what is ON the other side of the road in the first place!
:)
Really looking forward to the next installment of this new series....
( Phil should have a pretty easy time of it, based on his current answer..which should cover everything anyone might ask...for a while anyway!)
