He's no Aaron Messner, but the Philadelphia Eagles have drafted a Wheaton College football player, the first Wheaton athlete ever to receive such a distinction. Check out more on defensive end Andy Studebaker, the 37th pick of the sixth round in the 2008 National Football League Draft.

As an avid Eagles fan, it delights me to think of a young Wheaton grad potentially having an impact for Christ in the Eagles' locker room!

Phil Ryken, the noted football expert, says that the Eagles got a steal. Studebaker would have gone higher if not for a high ankle sprain his senior year.
