Passing the Grade
No more tests,
no more exams,
no more papers
now he can rest!
As of last Saturday at presbytery, Jonathan Olsen has passed examination on: acquaintance with experiential religion, especially his personal character and family management, knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew languages, Bible content, theology, the Sacraments, Church history, the history of the PCA, and the principles and rules of the government and discipline of the church. He has written papers on theology and biblical exegesis, and has preached a sermon before presbytery. He has fulfilled his internship.
Now, just seven more questions to answer, and he will be ordained as a Minister of the Gospel. Those questions will be asked next Sunday morning during worship as part of his ordination service.
Congratulations, Jonathan!
