Military Prayer Service

Hello, everyone:

A reminder: we'll be hosting the sixth in our series of prayer services for the military at St. David's Church, Radnor (761 Valley Forge Road) this Sunday afternoon, May 27, at 2.00 pm.

I'm going to add some simple directions here: From Rt. 30W (West Lancaster Avenue), turn left at South Waterloo Road (near the Devon train station) and take South Waterloo to Church Road. Turn left onto Church Road; the Church (and S. Valley Forge Rd) will be on your left. From Rt. 252N: Turn right onto St. David's Rd. where the road forks at the overpass; follow this to Church Rd., and turn left; the church (and S. Valley Forge Rd.) will be the next right-hand turn.

We have enjoyed a steady increase in the numbers attending. But please, nothing fancy, so come as you are. Just help us hold up these soldiers, sailors, pilots and Marines as they serve and protect us.

This Sunday happens to co-incide with the Memorial Day weekend, which makes this service all the more appropriate. It also co-incides with the Devon Horse Show's annual Carriage Ride, which borrows the open fields at St. David's as a staging area. Please park in one of the upper lots of the church to avoid any confusion, as well as what the horses are likely to leave, and walk down the hill to the Old Church.
