So I ask Phil if he is happy this morning and he starts talking about church matters. Focus, Phil. Focus! The Cardinals won the first game of the playoffs and he is giving more attention to what's going on in the church!

I'm sure Jonathan has already pointed this out to Phil, but the Phillies actually finished with a better record than the Cardinals, even though they did not make the playoffs. I guess that's what you call a "moral victory"...
Now the Cards are beating up on the Padres, who were one of the teams who helped keep the Phillies out. Where is the divine justice for us suffering Phillies fans? :-)
