Wedding Homily

We are on our way back. Spending the night in Emporia, VA. Wedding day was wonderful. I escorted an amazingly beautiful bride down the aisle. To read the homily I gave, go to the DMC Messages site on the right column or click here.

Did you manage to get through this homily without stopping to compose yourself several times? How precious for you to be able to give your daughter and new son-in-law these words of love and gift of shepherding.
You hit all the important points Marion...not only for the new couple getting married, but for (us) the older couples as well...and for all, married or unmarried you make it easy to see why we need to remember to pray for the marriages in our church.

What a lovely homily!

We are glad that you and Ginger had such a great time, and we're really glad to have you back! (The blog is certainly not the same without you!)

Wow, that is great!!! I ditto Cheryl in saying it is not only a great starting out gift to them but a wonderful reminder for those of us who are knee deep in married life. Thanks, and congratulations to them and to you and Ginger.
