Wedding Vows
I've working on the vows for Jean and Lucas to repeat. How's this for Jean?
I, Jean, take you, Lucas
to be my wedded husband
to have and to hold from this day forward
for better for worse
for richer for poorer
in sickness and in health
to love and to cherish
till Dad needs a visit.

That could work, but how does it square with the "leave and cleave" mandates in scripture. Knowing the kind of parent's you and Ginger are I am sure that you don't have to worry about loosing your "little girl" she will always have a place for you in her life. Think of it instead as gaining the son you never had.
(PS I know you are not being series but mearly sharing with us the struggle of a parent, thanks for your honesty about the process and yourlove for your daughter. We will be praying for you and Ginger through this process.)
Seeing the time stamp on this entry I want to know if it kept you up at night?
Some say giving away your daughter in a wedding ceremony is like handing cut-glass china to a gorilla. Will you tell me if it is true?
