1989 Annual Report

ADVANCE Tutoring is in its second year of operation under that name; it was formerly called "Tenth Tutoring Program," for nearly a decade. Accompanying the name change, the format has also been restructured. ADVANCE meets weekly on Tuesday evenings offering children (grades one through ten) of the Martin Luther King, Jr. housing project academically oriented one-on-one intensive tutoring in many subjects. The spiritual needs of the children are also addressed.
